A man was killed in an alleged gunfight with police in Shohagi Bazar area of Ishwarganj upazila in Mymensingh early Thursday.
The deceased is Rafiqul Islam alias Khokon, 45.
Ishwarganj police officer in-charge Akhtaruzzaman confirmed the incident and said the body was taken to the police station.
However, details of the incident were yet to be known.
