The Bangladesh team has landed in Dhaka after completing their full fledged bilateral series against Sri Lanka.
Tigers arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on a Sri Lankan airline around 11:30 on Friday.
Bangladesh played two Test matches during their 40 days trip. They reached a new milestone by winning their 100th Test match and leveled the series 1-1.
However, Tigers also started their ODI series very confidently. They won first one day international of the three match series. The second ODI was abandoned due to heavy rain. In the final ODI, Sri Lanka came back strongly and saved the series.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh’s bowling legend Mashrafe Bin Mortaza announced his retirement before an hour of first T20I.
Bangladesh lost their opening Twenty20. On April 6, Tigers took on Sri Lanka in the second Twenty20 International that was the series saver match for Bangladesh also the farewell match of Mashrafe. They won the match by 45 runs.
