Health Minister Mohammad Nasim has ordered to take safety measures against Swine flue as neighboring states of India have been fighting an epidemic of the disease since more than a month. The Minister called in an urgent meeting at the seminar room of the Ministry of Health and Family welfare at the secretariat Wednesday on preventing Swine flue. The minister directed to open separate units in the 64 district-hospitals with necessary medicine in stock. Any one diagnosed with Swain flue must be immediately sent to the units for proper treatment, Nasim said. Besides, the minister ordered to check all the passengers entering the airports from abroad, especially from India, with the thermal scanners as well as to stay the medical team at the airports alert for providing prevention measures for the disease. He also emphasize on conducting campaign to develop consciousness among the people about the flue.
