IPL 2017: Virat Kohli clicks selfie with opposition captains

Virat Kohli’s presence will be surely missed when the 10th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) kicks off amidst glitz and glamour on April 5.

The RCB captain, known as much for his feisty persona as for his peerless batting, shared a selfie with the captains of the other teams on Tuesday in Hyderabad.

“The spirit of Cricket Selfie. Let the best league in the world commence #IPL10 #SpiritOfCricket,” the Royal Challegers Banglaore skipper twetter.

A clutch of Indian stars led by Kohli are injured going into the season, but the Indian skipper is expected to return by the second week of the tournament.

Kohli had accumulated nearly 1000 runs last time and each of his four hundreds were T20 master-classes.

Another big name set to miss out at least the first game of the season is South Africa’s batting star AB de Villiers. Nursing a back injury, there is no clarity on his availability just yet, but coach Daniel Vettori is confident that the star batsman will return soon.
