Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Ariful Haq Chowdhury and Rajshahi City Corporation Mayor Mosaddek Hosain Bulbul have been suspended again by the government hours after holding offices.Local government division issued two separate notifications in this regard on Sunday.A Special Tribunal in Sunamganj accepted supplementary charge sheet on March 22 in a case filed against Ariful and that’s why he was suspended, said the notification.On the other hand, Mayor Bubul was also suspended for the same reason. A Rajshahi court accepted charge sheet against him.The BNP-backed mayors were suspended for the first time two years ago. They went to their respective offices on Sunday after getting high court ruling in favor of them. However, they were suspended again on the same day.
