A three-day international training program on "Gas Chromatography, Quantification and Quality Assurance" began on Monday at Mukarram Hussain Khundakar Biggan Bhaban of Dhaka University (DU).The Asian Network of Research on Food and Environment Contaminants (ANFEC) and the Network of Instrument Technical personnel and User scientists of Bangladesh (NITUB) jointly organized the programme.DU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Professor Dr Nasreen Ahmad inaugurated the programme as the chief guest with Bangladesh Academy of Sciences President and NITUB Prof Dr Mesbahuddin Ahmad in the chair.Science Faculty Dean Prof Dr M Abdul Aziz and Professor of Chemistry department Dr M Mosihuzzaman addressed it as special guests.A total of 14 young teachers and researchers from Bangladesh, Cambodia and Laos are participating in the programme.
