The teachers of thirty seven public universities started their indefinite strike from Monday demanding to reduce discrimination in 8th national pay scale.The class will remain close at all public universities until fulfilling their demand, it is learnt. Bangladesh Teachers Association Federation of Bangladesh declared to remain off them from university’s related all activities until fulfilling the assurance of Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith. In this connection, Secretary General of the Federation Professor Dr. ASM Maksud said we observed different types program including work abstention, wearing black badge peacefully for 9 months. But our demands didn’t fulfill.
