The "Homecoming Day" of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was celebrated across the country with due solemnity and dignity.On the occasion floral wreaths were placed at the portrait of the Father of the Nation, the national flag was hoisted and prayers were held for the salvation of the souls of Bangabandhu and his family members.Elaborate programs were drawn up by the local chapters of AwamI League and its associate organizations to celebrate the Day.
