At least six people were killed and around thirty injured in separate road accident near at 39 no. pillar of Bangabandhu Bridge early Saturday.Confirming the matter, Officer-in-charge (OC) of Bangabandhu Bridge Thana Akheruzzaman told Jagonews24.com that, the incident took place due to severe fog on the road and being stopped the lamp of the bridge.The injured people were taken to Sirajganj General Hospital and Tangail Medical College Hospital. Identities of them could not be known immediately.The transportation was remained stopped in two sides of the bridge after the incident. In this connection OC Akheruzzaman said, bridge authority, fire brigade, police and army personnel jointly worked to easy transportation. the number of victims might be increased in this incident, he added.
