US Ambassador to Bangladesh Marcia Stephens Bloom Bernicat visited Holey Artisan Bakery at the new location at Gulshan-2 in Dhaka on Monday.Confirming her visit US Embassy in Dhaka posted a picture on its official and verified facebook page on Tuesday afternoon.The post reads, “Yesterday, Ambassador Bernicat visited Holey Artisan Bakery at the new location in #Dhaka and showed her support for the rebirth of the beloved cafe and the resilience and courage of its employees!”Militants carried out an attack on the Holey Artisan Bakery cafe in July last year leaving 29 people dead including police officers and foreigners.The café was reopened at new location earlier in this year.
