Mirza Abbas, a leader of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), was sent to jail rejecting his bail pleas in two cases filed against him on the allegations of subversive activities.Mahahbubur Rahman, judge of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court, passed the order on Wednesday after hearing in this regard.Earlier, BNP’s Dhaka city convener Mirza Abbas surrendered before the court and sought bail in the two cases.
