B M Atikuzzaman, a Bangladeshi citizen who is representing now this country through his outstanding performance in the world. Once upon a time, he used to spend poor time but now he is the top among the digestive and liver specialists in United States (USA). Atik also passed little time when he used to eat the cheap foods sharing with his wife from McDonald restaurant in New York. After a long time survival, now this talented Bangladeshi lives at a beautiful city named Orlando in the U.S. state of Florida who started his abroad journey with a dream.At first Atik went to South Africa without any goal after passing the MBBS degree from Chittagong Medical College Hospital in 1994.Earlier, He completed Secondary School Certificate from Motijheel Ideal School & College in Narail and Higher Secondary Cirtificate from Notre Dame College in Dhaka.‘In 1994, there was no diplomatic tie between South Africa and Bangladesh. I went to South Africa along with only five hundred dollars. But I was faced endless harassment in Airport which was troubled me till now, Atik added. Later Atik along with his four friends went to Kenya’s capital Nairubi. From that place they reached to Zambia’s capital Lusaka via Tanzani and Uganda.Remembering his memory Atik said, the people of Zambia is very nice who wants to live with peace. After few years later, Atik realized that he have to USA to be a good physicians. In that time, different research on medical science was revealed in Western world. In 1995 Atik had started his new journey to New York after ending his job and married with Tahmina Yesmeen in 1996.Later he received training from Professor Grossman who named as governor of American College of gastroenterology.Apart from Atik also took the training from State University of New York.In 2004, he shifted to Orlando city along with his family. ‘This is nice city and its weather is like Bangladesh, Atik said.Since 12 years, Atik performed as a professor and chief of digestive and liver department of College of Medicine and Central Florida University.
