Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has enforced dawn to dusk hartal for Thursday protesting the Supreme Court`s verdict that upheld death penalty of war criminal Motiur Rahman Nizami.Nizami is also the chief of Jamaat-e-Islami.In a statement sent to media house, the party announced the hartal after the verdict on Wednesday.Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court has upheld the death sentence, awarded by the International Crimes Tribunal, for Motiur Rahman Nizami for crimes against humanity during the liberation war in 1971.
