A professor of Chittagong University was found dead at his residence in the university area this afternoon.
The body of Mathematics department professor Abul Kalam Azad was found hanging from a ceiling fan in Paharika Housing Society, Mokaddes Mia, in-charge of a police outpost on the campus told Jago News.
The body was yet to be recovered till filing the report.
It was know that Prof Azad was also the former dean of the university’s science faculty. His wife is also a professor of Chemistry department of CU. They have three children.
