The government has banned militant outfit ‘Ansar-Al-Islam’ for their activities against law and order of the country.Home Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Sunday.The notification reads, “The activities of Ansar al-Islam are against peace and stability in Bangladesh, which is a threat to the public security.”Bangladesh chapter of Al-Qaida claimed that Ansar-Al-Islam is the new name of Ansarullah Bangla Team.
