A member of a pirate gang was killed in an alleged gunfight with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) at Sukhpara char area of Sundarbans on Thursday.The deceased was identified as Billal Mir alias Kana Billal, 35, a member of Samsu Bahini. Police also recovered five firearms and seventy-seven round bullets from his possession. Confirming the matter to the Jagonews24.com, Major Adnan Kabir, Deputy Commander of RAB-8, told that body of the deceased was kept at local police station.
