An inter-ministerial meeting was held on Sunday at the Youth and Sports Ministry conference room for successfully hosting Asia Cup T20-2016 qualifying in Dhaka and Narayanganj, BSS reports.Afghanistan, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Hong Kong will take part in the qualifying round matches to be held at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Narayanganj while India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and host Bangladesh will play in the final round that will take place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur.In the meeting, the Youth and Sports secretary Kazi Akhtar Uddin Ahmed sought cooperation to the representatives of concern ministries, associations and divisions to make the events a success. The concern representatives assured the secretary to do their duty properly.The meeting also emphasized on to ensure proper ensure security of the invited local and foreign guests, players and officials during the time of their stay in Bangladesh.Officials of the concern Ministries and Divisions were also present on the occasion.
