Mushfiq and Co leaves for Sri Lanka

Bangladesh cricket team left Dhaka for Colombo ahead of their full-fledged bilateral series against Sri Lanka.Mushfiq and Co departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by a Sri Lankan airlines at 2:20 this noon.The flight took off fifteen minutes later from the departure time. Bangladesh team is expected to reach Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, after three hours of journey.Thirteen cricketers, led by Test Skipper Mushfiqur Rahim, are going to Sri Lanka with this flight.Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib-Al-Hasan, south paw opener Tamim Iqbal Khan and dependable batsman Mahmudullah, will join the squad from United Arab Emirates. They are now staying in UAE for the Pakistan Premier League (PSL).However, Before starting their Test series, tigers will play a two day warm up match. The first Test will begin at Galle International Stadium on March 7 and the second Test will start on March 15 at P. Sara in Colombo.Meanwhile, Bangladesh will play a warm up match on March 22. The three match ODIs series will be held from 25 March to April 1.Tigers will play their T20Is at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium (RPS) on April 4, 6 respectively.
