A youth was killed in a ‘gunfight’ with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) at Eastern Housing Society of Rupnagar area in Dhaka early hours of Sunday. The victim was identified as Al Amin Jony, 33. The details identity of Al Amin could not be known immediately.RAB-4 additional superintendent Anumong said, the patrol team of RAB intercepted Al Amin in Eastern Housing Society area around 2:30am. Ignoring the signal, he opened fire targeting to RAB members that forced the lawmen to retaliate with gunshot. During the gunfight, Jony sustained injuries by bullet.The injured was rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead around 4:15am.
