Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC) emerged champions in the EXIM Bank 26th National Women`s Handball competition beating Bangladesh Ansar by 28-19 goals in final held on Saturday at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium.The winners` led the first half by 13-7 goals.In the day`s match, Sherin was the highest scorer with 10 goals while Dalia supported her with six goals for the champion side. Rubina scored seven goals while Nishi scored five goals for the Ansar.Shirina of the champion team was named the best player of the match.Earlier, in the day`s place-deciding match, Bangladesh Police finished third in the competition defeating Noagaon district by 14-7 goals. The winners` led the first half by9-2 goals.
