The Election Commission (EC) will publish the final voter list on January 31.EC Secretariat Secretary Sirajul Islam said this while publishing the draft voter list at a press conference at EC media centre on Saturday.He said 43,68,047 new voters 22,97,895 male and 20,70,152 female have been included the draft voter list, raising the total number of voters to more than 10.05 crore.He said objection could be raised against anyone included in the draft list by January 17. Applications also could be submitted for correcting any information by this time, he added.The authorities will settle the complaints on January 22 and publish the final voter list on January 31.Sirajul Islam said during updating the voter list, names of 7,35,871 dead persons were dropped.EC Secretariat Additional Secretary Mokhlesur Rahman was present at the press conference, among others.
