Secretary of Election Commission Md Sirajul Islam asked the officials engaged in Singair Pourasava election to perform their responsibility impartially, honestly and sincerely.Secretary of Election Commission said this on Saturday while addressing the training programme of presiding officers, assistant presiding officers and polling officers who were appointed for forthcoming Singair Pourashava election which is scheduled to be held on January 7.Returning officer Singair Pourasava Md Munir Hossain Khan said that six mayoral, 34 councilor and 7 women reserved seat candidates are contesting against for the post of one mayor, nine councilors and three women reserved seats.He said the number of voters of Singair Pourasava is 20,014 including 10,141 female voters.
