Indian foreign secy set to arrive tomorrow

Indian external affairs secretary Subramanyam Jaishankar arrives Dhaka tomorrow on a two-day official visit to discuss the proposed visit of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to India expected in April, officials said today.The officials said Jaishankar is now in Beijing would arrive tomorrow afternoon at the invitation of his Bangladesh counterpart M Shahidul Haque.During his visit, Jaishankar will call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali besides holding talks with his counterpart to finalize signing of a number of agreements."The talks will include issues like storage of basin water for irrigation purpose and security cooperation could up in their discussion," an official familiar with the visit told BSS.Jaishankar will depart Dhaka for Colombo on Friday morning.Source: BSS
