The mastermind and death row convicted for the murder of blogger Ahmed Rajib Haider has been arrested with his aide.A team of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Unit arrested Redwanul Azad Rana and his aide Ashraf from the city’s Uttara area around 2:00 pm on Monday.Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) deputy commissioner Masudur Rahman confirmed it.Rajib Haidar was hacked to death on February 15, 2013, at Mirpur in Dhaka.A Dhaka court on December 31, 2015, handed down death penalty to two people -- Rana, 34, and Faisal Bin Nayem alias Dweep, 24, -- for killing Rajib. They have also been fined Tk 10,000 each.
