At least three business establishments were gutted by a fire at Tushkhali Bazar under Mathbaria upazila in the district on Thursday night.Local said, on information, two units of fire fighter from Mathbaria and Bhandaria rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after one hour of hectic efforts with the help of local people.The fire originated from electric short circuit at a shop of Ilias and soon engulfed the adjacent others, they added.The affected owners claimed that the extent of the loss caused by the fire is Tk. 15 lakh.
