The High Court (HC) issued a rule asking the government to explain in two weeks why it should not be directed to form an inquiry commission to identify story makers and plotters against the Padma Bridge project.The HC also directed the cabinet secretary to submit a report if any step is taken in line with rule to dispose in 30 days.
The HC bench of Justice Quazi Reza-Ul Hoque and Justice Mohammad Ullah on Wednesday came up with the rule and order in a suo moto (of its own) move following the reports published in Daily Inqilab.
