India’s spin wizard on Monday fulfilled the desire of young Bangladesh spinner Mehedi Hasan Miraz, as the World No. 1 Test bowler shared some bowling tips with the promising youngster. Ashwin sat down with Miraz after the one-off Test between India and Bangladesh at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium to teach latter the nuances of spin bowling.India defeated Bangladesh by a huge margin of 208 runs in the one-off Test played between the two teams for the first time on Indian soil.This was India’s sixth successive Test series win under the captaincy of charismatic skipper Virat Kohli. Before the start of this historic Test, Mehedi Hasan had expressed his desire to learn some bowling tips from the top ranked bowler. “Ashwin is a world class cricketer. I’m looking forward to consult him to get some tips after the game,” Miraz said before Bangladesh flew off to Hyderabad last week. The BCCI shared the image of Ashwin sitting and chatting with young Miraz and giving him some vital suggestions over spin bowling. “Sharing knowledge with youngsters. Interestingly in this very match, Ashwin became the fastest bowler to reach 250 Test wickets to surpass the record of Australian legend Dennis Lillee. Bangladesh skipper and centurion Mushfiqur Rahim was Ashwin’s 250th victim. 19-year-old Miraz, on the other hand, impressed all with his all-round performance in the Hyderabad Test.
