At least four people were injured in a clash between the activists of two municipal candidates at Nabinbagh in Gopalganj district on Tuesday morning. The injures are Miraj Sikdar, 38, Taz Sikdar, 17, Kazi Salauddin Naeem, 36 and Rana, 26. Critically injured three of them were sent to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital.According to source, the supporters of Amin Mia attacked supporters of Jane Alam Sikdar in front of Helipad in the area. During the attack, four supporters of two candidates were injured. In this connection Sub-inspector of Gopalganj Sadar Police Station Abdus Sobhan said that on information police forces rushed to the spot and the situation is under controlled now.
