Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury said, students should be more skilled in information technology to compete globally, achieve the challenge of 21st century and get good positions.The Speaker was addressing as the chief guest at a reunion programme of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College on its premises at city’s New Baily Road organised by Viqarunnisa Alumni Association on Saturday.Urging all to come forward to reduce gender inequality the Speaker said, ‘Women empowerment and gender parity would be ensured if everyone comes forward to eradicate gender disparity through higher education and financial solvency of women,’ she said.Civil Aviation Minister and governing body chief of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College Rashed Khan Menon MP, Principal Sufia Khatun, the association president Professor Bushra Hasina Chowdhury also spoke.
