A total of 108 primary school teachers have been selected for the best teacher award, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education sources said.Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is set to hand over the award after inaugurating the National Primary Education Week 2017 at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on January 29.Minister for the ministry Mustafizur Rahman and the members of parliament will be present as special guests at the programme.The recipients will get award in 18 categories for the best result and the contribution in education, sports and cultural programmes in 2016.The ministry has also taken decision to give awards and honors to deputy commissioners, upazil nirbahi officers, upazila education officers, teachers, guardians, students and officials of the concern ministry and departments.
