The government is going to import 16 lakh and 20 thousands tonnes of refined fuel oil from eight countries. The government will have to spend 11098.62 core taka in this project.The Cabinet Committee for Public Purchase approved the move of buying fuel oil at a meeting held at the conference hall of the Secretariat on Thursday. Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith presided over the meeting.Meeting sources said, the import of refined fuel oil will be started from December of this year from the countries including China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Philippines and Kuwait.
