Pakistani Diplomat Fareena Arshad has been withdrawn from Bangladesh following allegations of financing terrorist activities.An official at the Foreign Ministry said, the Pakistani female diplomat ‘was supposed to leave’ Dhaka on Wednesday afternoon but did not elaborate further.A diplomatic source said the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka has withdrawn the diplomat, the Second Secretary (Political) at the High Commission as the Bangladesh government asked Pakistan ‘informally’ to withdraw the diplomat.Earlier, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal told the media that the government would take action through the Foreign Ministry against Pakistani female diplomat if her alleged involvement in militancy is proved.
