The dean election of different faculties of Dhaka University was held today at the Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban at the campus.DU Treasurer Professor Dr Md Kamal Uddin conducted the polls as the representative of Vice-Chancellor.The elected deans are Professor Dr Abu Md Delwar Hossain in Arts Faculty, Professor Md Abdul Aziz in Science Faculty, Professor Dr. Md. Rahmat Ullah in Law Faculty (unopposed), Professor Shibli Rubayatul Islam in Business Studies Faculty, Professor Farid Uddin Ahmed in Social Sciences Faculty (unopposed), Professor Md Imdadul Haque in Biological Sciences Faulty, Professor Dr S M Abdur Rahman in Pharmacy Faculty, Professor Nisar Hossain in Fine Arts Faculty, Professor ASM Maksud Kamal in Earth and Environmental Sciences Faculty (Unopposed) and Professor Dr M Hasanuzzaman in Engineering and Technology Faculty.Source: BSS
