Two people were detained along with 35 gold bars from Toll Plaza area under Daudkandi upazila in Comilla district on Saturday.The detainees were identified as Milon, son of Badsha Miah of Ashwadia in Sadar upazila of Feni district and Kafil Uddin, son of Obaidul Haque, hailing from Dakhhin Kuhuma village in Chhagalnaiya upazila.In this connection, Abu Salam Miah, officer-in-charge of Daudkandi Police Station, said on information, police conducted a drive in the Dhaka-bound microbus from Feni in the afternoon and recovered the gold bars from them.
