Jatiya Party will stand by the government for any steps taken aiming to bring back peace and discipline in the country. JP leader Rowshan Ershad on Tuesday said this on the point of order in the 5th session of the 10th parliament.
“Curb any subversive activities strictly to save the people from being torched and killed. We, as the opposition, are with you with full support regarding this. We never boycott the parliament. Calling strike was supposed to be a mode of democratic protest, but it’s become a horrific experience for the mass people nowadays”, She said to the Prime Minister.
Rowshan Ershad condemned the killing and injuries during the Hartal and blockade called by opposition BNP and its allies.
