The government will issue new Taka 5 currency note from January 5, said an official release today.Senior Secretary of Finance Division Mahbub Ahmed has signed the note.The colour of the note is violet. The front page of the note has been inscribed with replica of Jatiya Smriti Soudho and portrait of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the back page is portrayed with Naogaon Kusumba Mosque.Source: BSS
