Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid rich tributes to Gaibandha-1 Awami League lawmaker Manzurul Islam Liton at South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad at 10am on Monday. Later the second namaz-e-janaza of Manzurul Islam Liton was held at the same place.Manzurul Islam Liton died on Saturday evening after he was reportedly shot by unknown assailants at his village home in Sundarganj upazila of the district.His body was flown to Dhaka by a helicopter on Sunday afternoon after his first namaj-e-janaza was held at Rangpur Police Lines School and College ground.The body of Liton will be flown back to his Bamondanga village in Sundarganj upazila in Gaibandha today. He will be buried at his family graveyard after his third janaza following Asr prayers.
