A compliant has been filed against National Cricket Team player Aninul Haque Bijoy on Sunday for allegedly beating and stabbing a youth in Kushtia.Abdul Halim, father of victim Motaleb Hossain Bappy, 24, filed the case with Kushtia Model Police Station on Sunday night.According to the complainant, Bappy had an altercation with Bijoy’s father Jamil Hossain, who has been living at a rented house owned by Bappy’s father for the last four years, over a trifling mater Sunday morning.Following the incident, Bijoy along with three of his friends went to his house from Dhaka in the evening.Critically injured, Bappy was admitted to Kushtia General Hospital.Biplob Kumar Debnath, officer-in-charge of Kushtia Model Police Station, said to JagoNews24.com, they will take legal steps after investigating the complaint.
