Inspector General of Police AKM Shahidul Haque said drives against terrorists will continue as there is no room for terrorism and militancy in the country.He said this while presiding over a special meeting on terrorism at Police Headquarters on Thursday afternoon.Urging to return to normal life those who are getting involved with terrorist activities, the IGP said, “You come back to normal life. You will get all sorts of cooperation otherwise you will face stern actions.”Haque thanked people and media for their support to curb terrorism in the country.In the meeting, AIG of Police Headquarters Md Maniruzzaman presented different aspects of operations carried out by law enforcers against terrorists in the city`s Azimpur and Dakkhin Khan and Joydebpur of Gazipur district in recent times.Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Md Asaduzzaman Miah, Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) Unit DIG Md Maninrul Islam and CTTC Additional DIG Md Aminul Islam joined the meeting, among others.Source: BSS
