Fire at Russian hospital kills 21

A fire at a psychiatric hospital in Russia’s central Voronezh region killed 21 people, the RIA Novosti news agency reported on Sunday.‘19 bodies were found at the site of the fire, two other people succumbed to their wounds at the hospital,’ the news agency cited a spokesman as saying. The hospital building, made of wood, was destroyed by the fire, the spokesman said. When the fire broke, close to 70 patients were in the building, along with at least four medical personnel. 29 patients were bedridden or with limited mobility.
