The Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi, the day of birth and demise of the Great Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), will be observed in the country on December 25.A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee decided this as the moon of Rabiul Awal month of Hijri 1437 was not sighted anywhere in Bangladesh sky on Saturday.It said as the moon was not sighted today, tomorrow will the 30th day of the Hijri month Safar. Holy Rabiul Awal month would begin on December 14 (Monday).The meeting was held at the Islamic Foundation`s Baitul Mukarram National Mosque meeting room this noon.Committee`s vice-president and Religious Affairs Secretary Dr Chowdhury M Babul Hasan presided over the meeting.
