The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed fall in price indices on Thursday, the last session of the week.DSEX, the prime index of DSE, the country’s premier bourse, shed over 3.95 points to stand at 4583.41 points at the close of the day’s trading. Trade deals stood at 105549 with volume of transactions at Tk3743.49 million. Of the issues traded at the Dhaka bourse, 135 advanced, 141 declined and 46 remained unchanged. Beximco Pharma topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk130.95 million changing hands. The other turnover leaders were Delta Life, Square Pharma, Al-Haj Tex, Aftab Autos, BSRM Steel, KDSA Ltd, Quasem Drycell, UPGDCL and Shasha Denim.The port city bourse – Chittagong Stock Exchange – also fell, with its Selective Categories Index sliding to 8505.05 by dropping over 13.71 points. Of the issues traded at the CSE today, 90 gained, 116 slipped and 41 remained unchanged. -FE
