The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) on Tuesday declared Tejgaon truck stand road, Tejgaon industrial area and Mohakhali bus terminal free of illegal parking.Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Annisul Huq declared Tejgaon road connecting Satrasta and Karwan Bazar free of illegal occupation to ease public movement in a public meeting in the capitals Tejgaon truck stand area.
He said, we will set up a permanent truck terminal in the capital and it will take one or two years to find a convenient place. Until then the temporary truck stand in Tejgaon would continue to be used as a terminal.Earlier on November 29, Annisul Huq conducted an eviction drive against illegal vehicle parking at the capital`s Tejgaon truck stand area.
