A Malaysian court on Wednesday jailed 10 Bangladeshi migrant workers along with 43 other foreigners detained for various criminal offences under the Immigration Act.Sessions Judge Norhayati Mohd Yuno passed the order that will be effective from the date of their arrest.The other nationalities are 28 Myanmarese, 11 Indonesians, two Vietnamese, a Cambodian and a Nepalese. Most of them were factory workers.They have been overstaying in the country without any valid travel documents, the daily reports. None of the accused was represented.Bangladesh High Commission in Kuala Lumpur could not be reached for his comment immediately.Source: Malaysian daily The Star
