The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday upheld order of the High Court that granted bails to BNP leader Shawkat Mahmud in four subversion cases.Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain of Appellate Division Chamber Judge court upheld the High Court order as he passed "No Order" in this regard.The High Court allowed him interim bails in November in the four cases filed with Paltan, Rampura and Khilgaon Police Stations. The state later appealed against the order.Meanwhile, the High Court today granted him regular bails in two more cases.
