Sabbir Rahman and Mahmudullah Riyad are teammates at Bangladesh national team, where they fight side by side to achieve glory of Bangladesh national team. However, the two icon players are facing off each other to secure own team’s position in the final of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).Sabbir’s Rajshahi Kings will take on Mahmudullah’s Khulna Titans at 5.45 pm on Wednesday at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the second qualifier match of the tournament.Though Sabbir is the icon player of Rajshahi Kings, the team is led by West Indies cricketer Darren Sammy whose blitz snatched the victory from Tamim’s Chittagong Vikings in the eliminating match on Tuesday.Mahmudullah who led Barisal Bulls into final at the third edition of BPL is now captain of Khulna. His team conceded defeat against Dhaka Dynamites in the first qualifier match, though they reached into playoffs after triumphing over the same team in the group round.However, they have now another opportunity to be qualified for final match in the fourth edition of BPL.
