The cabinet on Monday approved draft laws for converting Gazipur and Rangpur police to metropolitan police.Bijoy Bhattacharya, additional secretary to the cabinet division informed this to journalist.He said, the decision was made to provide legal services to the doorsteps of the people.The drafts will now be sent to the law ministry for vetting, Bijoy added.
