The prosecution has started presenting its arguments on chief of Jamaat-e-islami Motiur Rahman Nizami`s appeal against the death penalty awarded to him for 1971 war crimes.A four-member Appellate Division bench headed by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha is hearing the arguments in the appeal for the tenth day.Attorney General Mahbubey Alam, assisted by Additional Attorney General Md Momtazuddin Fakir, began the arguments on Monday morning.Khandker Mahbub Hossain is the chief counsel for Nizami, with SM Shahjahan assisting him.
