Government wants supervisory power of Facebook posts of Bangladeshi users. Govt. has proposed visiting authorities of Facebook to give this power to Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).Govt. has proposed this in a meeting with the visiting authorities of Facebook. The meeting was held at the Secretariat of home ministry.Sources said, Bangladesh urged to set up an admin office here. It has been talking about setting up a a separate server to supervise Facebook posts of Bangladeshi users from Bangladesh.However, the representatives of Facebook did not answer about is this matter. They said, they will talk to the authority about this issue.A meeting to be held about this matter at Prime Minister’s Office today then a meeting will be held with BTRC on Monday, sources added.
