Academicians will discuss on social media impact in Bangladesh on the last day of the first National Conference on‘Mass Communication and Journalism.’The session on social media impact will start at 10am at Alumni Meeting Room, Ground Floor, Senate Building at the University of Dhaka.Jagannath University Mass Communication and Journalism department Professor Helena Ferdousi will chair the session. Shudipto Sharma, Najma Akhter and Tapan Mahmud will also present their papers in the session.The two day long National Conference on Mass Commission and Journalism began on Tuesday. Noted academicians presented their papers on a number of topics on the first day.There will be another session on social media on the last day of the conference. Titled “Social Media impact in Bangladesh”, Dhaka University Mass Communication and Journalism associate professor Robaet Ferdous will chair the session. The session will start at 11:30 am.Another session titled ‘Critical Thoughts on Journalism’ will be held on the last day of the conference. Dhaka University Printing and Publication department chairperson Sudhangshu Shekhar Roy will chair the session. The session will start at 2pm.
